Jackson is a 2020 graduate of the University of the South (Sewanee) with a BA in Economics and Environment & Sustainability. During his time at Sewanee, Jackson conducted econometric research on the county level effects of hydraulic fracturing in the United States, as well as research on air quality measurement and standards in Delhi, India. While at Sewanee, Jackson served as the first head of Sewanee’s then newly-formed Sewanee’s Impact Investing Club. He also helped lead Sewanee’s Socially Conscious Investment Club, which earned him a feature in The New York Times.
